Wolverine Achievement Awards

The Wolverine Achievement awards is like the equivalent of the Oscars but for UVUSA. Haha, the new executive council is sworn in & a bunch of people get awards. It's pretty cool. I was presenting with a fellow Senator, Jared Roberts. It was a great time! I did not trip in my 5 in. heels & I didn't mess up my lines on the TelePrompTer so yes it was a pretty great night!

Cori was a finalist for the Wolverine Spirit award.

Hello there,

It's 11:23pm... almost my bedtime. I felt like it has been past midnight since 8pm... These are happy times. I feel Spring in the air and what is better than knowing Summer is on its way? Minus the days where I wake up and its snowing. But I've decided to forgive Utah for its bipolar behavior.

Today I was informed that I will be returning as the Education Senator for the 2011-2012 school year. I AM STOKED! This was the best news until I found out that Cori Fox is also joining UVUSA as the Fine Arts chair. How does life get any better? I found a new job, made Student Council, got into the Fiji expedition, AND the semester is almost over! It's almost scary when so many things go right because I feel like it's only fair for the Universe to throw something bad my way. Hopefully I'm wrong!

Anyways, even though ALL of the time my brain consists of a random train of thought it gets even worse at night. Specifically past 10pm. (last year it was midnight but hey, i'm getting older now.) << Joke.

-Tomorrow is going to be awesome. The Wolverine Achievement Awards will be way fun.

-Will Ferrel's tweets make my day

-I miss my dogs

-Nobody says LOL anymore... good.

-I can hear every word my neighbors are saying.

-Like do blondes totally have more fun?? (HAHA, again just kidding)

Anyways, I find my randomness to be really funny sometimes.

And sometimes I'm the only one, haha :]

But that's ok.

Everyone should learn (if they haven't already) to love who they are. Everyone has something extraordinary about them. Embrace it.

Calling all Hunger Games fans..

I just think it should be common knowledge that A) Hunger Games the movie comes out next March B) Jennifer Lawrence is playing Katniss (perfect) & C) Josh Hutcherson and Liem Hemsworth were just cast in this movie.

Conference weekend

I LOVE conference weekend.

I love that we can hear from the Prophet & the words that come straight from the Lord

I'm so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

I LOVE the temple & I am making a goal to go once a week this summer.

I can't wait to go to the temple to be sealed for all time & eternity to my best friend.

I'm so grateful for Jesus Christ & his Atonement

I am forever grateful for his sacrifice & unconditional love

even when I make mistakes He will NEVER stop loving me OR you.

No matter what you do, He'll never stop loving you.

Never.

I am grateful for the trials in my life

& that my Father in Heaven was not only walking by my side but carrying me through those times. I feel EXTREMELY blessed to alive & have so many blessings.

I am always indebted to my Father in Heaven.

I love Jesus Christ & my Father in Heaven.

I don't think I could ever show that enough.

C-C-C-Changes

I gotta update everybody!

I haven't even talked about my birthday...

Well, I turned 20 on March 25th.

It was great...

I woke up & went to Kneaders with Melissa and Erin for breakfast

I came home and went back to sleep haha.

It was overcast so I felt extra sleepy!

I woke up and went to lunch at Joe Vera's (the best Mexican restaurant on Center st.) with my Grandma Gayla (love her!)

Then I had to go to school to finish my UVUSA application

Hung out there for a bit.

Left the school

Got a call at 2:45pm

I got into the Fiji service expedition in June!

There was a mandatory meeting at 3pm

I go back to the school

Meeting gets over at 5pm.

Go home get ready for dinner at Olive Garden

We brought Martinelli's to OG for a toast

My brother got me Katy Perry tickets!! AND bought my dinner. So great.

My cute roomie Melissa decorated the apartment

They MADE me wear this crown & sash (but i loved it, shhh)

In all my birthday was great.

After OG we came back to my apartment and ate cake & ice cream

I probably gained 5 pounds that day.

Still workin' on losing it hahahaha.

Anyways, today is April 1st

which many know is April Fool's day

SOOO My best friend Cori really wanted to celebrate

& we decided to pull some pranks on people in the UVUSA office ...

Like my advisor Andrew

I saw this one prank where these boys filled some girl's apartment with cups of water so they can't move anywhere unless they knock down a cup of water. We decided that sounded awesome, but we wanted to add fish to the equation.

This is just a picture of the ground.

You can sort of see a couple vases where we put the fish in but we mainly put the fish in the vases on his desk around his office. It was sweeeeet. Tell me that is not a BEAUTIFUL picture. hahaha. He was pretty upset/loved it/laughed at this amazing job we did. I would be impressed. We even put a fish in a little shot glass on his book case.

I feel pretty accomplished.

OH, & not only was turning 20 a CHANGE (hence the title)

But I just got a job working on campus at UVU.

So I gave my 2 weeks at Honda today...

It is bitter sweet, I will miss some people.

It is Spring time and change is in the air.
